Welcome to Reyburn and 7th grade Science
I am a proud mother of two beautiful young adults (ages 35 and 40 years old) and I love teaching Science! Both of my children are nurses helping others:) They both attended Clovis Schools during K-12. I just became a grandmother on April 16 in 2016. My daughter gave birth to a precious Mila Wong-- 20.5 inches long and weighed in at 7 lbs. and 8 oz. Mila is 4 years old. Then, a grandson was born in December 2018 named Nathan Wong. He is almost 1 and 1/2 yrs. See photos below with Jaclyn, my daughter, and her husband, Jonathan with grand-kids.
I have been privileged to work in the Clovis Unified School District for the past 26 years. This will be my 27th year teaching and my 21st year at Reyburn Intermediate:) I taught 5 years at Clark Intermediate before I came to Reyburn.
I graduated from U.C.S.B. with a Bachelor’s degree in the Biological Sciences. I have my Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling besides my Teaching Certificate from Fresno State. I am also CLAD certified and have over 100 hours of CUSD laptop training.
My other work experiences include nursing for a Cardiologist and doing research at the Loma Linda University Hospital. There, I worked in the Endocrine Lab trying to improve the current blood tests for measuring Thyroxin levels by using Radio-immunoassay.
I love to draw, sculpture, sing, exercise, fast walk and enjoy nature.
